About EvalMe

EvalMe is a free writing tool for U.S. Army leaders, built by NextPlay Labs LLC. It turns plain-language notes into professional NCOER bullets, OER rater and senior-rater comments, AR 25-50 memorandums, and AR 600-8-22 award bullets and citations — in seconds, with a free tier and no credit card required.

What EvalMe does

EvalMe covers the writing tasks that consume a leader's time at the end of a rating period or before a board:

  • NCOER bullets for all six competencies — Character, Presence, Intellect, Leads, Develops, and Achieves
  • OER rater and senior-rater narrative comments by area of concentration
  • 39 AR 25-50 appointment-memorandum types, formatted to the regulation
  • AR 600-8-22 award bullets and citations (AAM, ARCOM, MSM) ready to paste into IPPS-A
  • Duty descriptions and rank-appropriate examples across the enlisted and officer force

Citations are never faked

The differentiator behind EvalMe is restraint. Every regulation reference the tool produces is drawn from a curated catalog of valid Army regulations — it is never invented by the AI. When a request falls outside what the catalog can support, EvalMe says so instead of fabricating a citation. The goal is output a leader can route with confidence, not text that merely sounds official.

Who builds EvalMe

EvalMe is a product of NextPlay Labs LLC, an independent software company. It is offered on a free tier with an optional Pro plan. EvalMe is an independent private service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, or any U.S. Government agency. Regulation content is summarized from the governing publications; always confirm specifics against the current regulation and your servicing office.
