25B IT Specialist NCOER Duty Description Examples

Serves as Network Administrator responsible for the operation and maintenance of information systems supporting a battalion-sized headquarters; Manages user accounts, permissions, and network access in accordance with Army cybersecurity policies and RMF requirements; Implements STIG compliance and ensures all networked systems meet IAVA patch requirements; Provides technical support to network users and resolves hardware, software, and connectivity issues; Maintains network documentation and ensures accurate records of all system configurations and changes; Advises the S6 NCOIC on network status, cybersecurity posture, and information systems requirements
