35M Human Intelligence Collector NCOER Duty Description Examples

Serves as HUMINT Collector responsible for human intelligence collection in support of operational intelligence requirements; Conducts source operations, tactical questioning, and debriefing activities providing actionable intelligence to supported commanders; Manages source records and maintains source files in accordance with Army HUMINT doctrine; Coordinates collection activities with the S2 and higher HUMINT elements on collection requirements; Prepares HUMINT reports and intelligence products in accordance with reporting standards; Advises the collection team leader on collection status and HUMINT requirements

Serves as HUMINT Section NCOIC responsible for all human intelligence collection operations for a military intelligence battalion; Supervises HUMINT collectors in the execution of source operations, TQ, and collection activities; Manages section collection program and coordinates requirements with the S2 and theater HUMINT managers; Directs source development and manages the battalion source registry; Coordinates with CI elements and higher HUMINT headquarters on collection operations; Advises the intelligence officer and commander on HUMINT capabilities and collection requirements
